Drumadonnell Cross, Down

The cross, 8.5ft high, is decorated with interlacing and with a diamond shaped area at the crossing with a small circular rosette. The original provenance of the cross is uncertain. It was built into north gable of Drumadonnell School from around 1778-1972, before which it traditionally stood at Drumgooland. It is now housed under cover.
