Dromore Cross, Down

Dromore Cross is a mediæval high cross, located in the town of Dromore, County Down. It is a ring-headed cross of granite and is undecorated, apart from geometric interlacing on north and east sides. The form and decoration suggest that a 9th-century date is possible. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
