Dromantine House, Down
Dromantine House is a country house and estate, located to the north of Newry in County Down. In 1806 Arthur Innes built the original part of the existing house in Neo-classical style. In the 1860s, Arthur Charles Innes-Cross extended the original house, to the designs of John McCurdy, making it even more stately and imposing. The estate was bought by the Society of African Missions in 1926, who significantly extended it. The house is within the council area of Newry, Mourne and Down.
