Dower House, Northamptonshire

The Dower House is a ruined 16th-century hunting lodge in Fawnsley Park, Northamptonshire. The Dower House was built for Sir Edmund Kinghtley's wife Lady Ursula shortly after his death in 1542. It is located around half a mile from the main Fawsley Hall. It is a small, H-plan house made out of Ironstone ashlar and brick. The Dower House was last inhabited in 1704 and has fallen into a state of disrepair. It is within the council area of West Northamptonshire.
