Dormanstown, Yorkshire

Dormanstown is an urban area in Redcar, Yorkshire, in the North Riding. The area was built for and named after the Dorman Long iron and steelworks from 1917. It evolved into a suburb of Redcar with much private development in the 1960s. It is within the council area of Redcar and Cleveland.
