Dooey's Cairn, Antrim
Dooey's Cairn is a Neolithic court tomb near the village of Dunloy, County Antrim. It consists of a U-shaped forecourt that leads into a small chamber. Behind the chamber is a cremation passage, containing three pits, one of which held the remains of several individuals. The edges of the cairn are stone revetted. It is named after Andrew Dooey who owned the land. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Causeway Coast and Glens.
