Dollingstown is a village in County Down. It is within the townlands of Taughrane and Ballymacateer, in the civil parish of Magheralin. Dollingstown developed from the mid 19th century along the road from Moira and Lurgan (A3). It is believed to be named after the Reverend Boghey Dolling , a 19th-century rector of Magheralin parish, whose family held significant land. It remained a small settlement along the road until the mid 20th century, since when it has seen large-scale residential development. The village is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
