Ditchling Beacon Camp, Sussex
Ditchling Beacon Camp is an Iron Age hillfort on Ditchling Beacon to the south of Ditchling, Sussex. A single defensive bank and ditch enclosed an area of around 14 acres. The Beacon represented an excellent position for defensive purposes as it dominates adjoining parts of the South Downs ridge. It is within the council area of Lewes (East Sussex).
