Devil's Den, Wiltshire
Devil's Den is a Neolithic long barrow near Fyfield, Wiltshire. The chambered tomb comprises four large sarsens: three uprights, one capstone. It is set on top of a low earthen mound 35ft square and 1ft 6" high. Flanking the mound are quarry ditches from which material was quarried during the construction of the monument. The site was partially reconstructed in 1921, after plough damage. The monument is within the council area of Wiltshire.
