Devil's Causeway, Northumberland

The Devil's Causeway is a Roman Road in Northumberland. It branches off Dere Street north of Corbridge and can be traced through Northumberland for about 55 miles north to Berwick-upon-Tweed. It is thought to pre-date Hadrian's Wall. It is within the council area of Northumberland.
