Devil's Arrows, Yorkshire
Devil's Arrows is a prehistoric standing stone alignment near Boroughbridge, Yorkshire, in the West Riding. The alignment contains three standing stones and is about 570ft long in total. It is thought that the alignment originally included up to five stones. The tallest stone is 22.5 feet in height, making this the second tallest menhir in Great Britain, after the Rudston Monolith. The monument is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
