Desborough, Northamptonshire
Desborough is a town in Northamptonshire. In the 19th century, the town was an industrial centre for weaving and shoe making. St Giles Church is the oldest surviving building (AD 1225). It is believed to stand on the site of an earlier Saxon church. The Old Manor House in Gold Street retains many features of its late 17th century origins. The town is within the council area of North Northamptonshire.
