Denton Burn, Northumberland

Denton Burn is a former hamlet which is now a western suburb of Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland. A small section of Hadrian's Wall is located in the suburb, the first substitutional length of wall that can be seen west of Newcastle. It is within the council area of Newcastle upon Tyne.
