Dechomet, Down

Dechomet (aka Lowtown) is a hamlet in County Down. It is within the townland of Deehommed, in the civil parish of Drumgooland. St Mary's of the Angels Church (RC) was built in 1835. Old Drumgooland Burial Ground is reputedly the site of a church destroyed in the 17th century. The hamlet is within the council area of Newry, Mourne and Down.
