Darkley, Armagh

Darkley is a small village, lying on the west bank of the Callan River in County Armagh. It is within the townland of Darkley, in the civil parish of Keady. The Darkley Spinning and Weaving Factory was built by William Kirk in the 1860s. It declined and eventually closed in the late 20th century. The village is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
