Dalway's Bawn, Antrim

Dalway's Bawn is an early 17th century planter’s fortified enclosure in the townland of Ballyhill, County Antrim. It was built in about 1609 by John Dalway, constable of Carrickfergus Castle, to secure his royal grant of land in the area. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Mid and East Antrim.
