Cwmbrân, Monmouthshire

Cwmbrân (Cwmbran) is a new town in Monmouthshire, established in 1949. It is twinned with Bruchsal, Germany and Carbonne, France. The area of the new town encompasses the villages of Old Cwmbran, Pontnewydd, Upper Cwmbran, Croesyceiliog, Llantarnam and Llanyrafon. The town is within the council area of Torfaen.
