Cushendall, Antrim
Cushendall is a coastal village in County Antrim. The village developed around a cross roads on the north bank of the Ballymoney River in Cushendall townland, in the civil parish of Layd. The four main streets here retain their mainly Georgian period buildings. The 20th century saw major housing developments south of the river in the townlands of Ballymacdoe, Kilnadore, Middle Park and Bellisk. The village is within the council area of Causeway Coast and Glens.
