Cumbernauld Village, Dunbartonshire
Cumbernauld Village is a former village which is now a neighbourhood in the new town of Cumbernauld, Dunbartonshire, the new town taking its name from the village. Whilst Cumbernauld was designated a new town in 1955, the Village itself has a pre-medæval history. It is within the council area of North Lanarkshire.
