Cultra, Down
Cultra is a seaside suburban village, lying on the Belfast Lough in County Down. It is within the townland of Ballycultra, in the civil parish of Holywood. The area was sparely populated until the opening of Cultra Railway Station in 1865 but was subsequently developed by the Kennedy family of Cultra House for superior housing. The village is within the council area of Ards and North Down.
