Cubitt Town, Middlesex

Cubitt Town is a metropolitan district on the eastern side of the Isle of Dogs, south-east Middlesex. It is named after William Cubitt from the 1840s and 1850s to house workers from the local docks, shipbuilding yards and factories. The area is within the council area of Tower Hamlets.
