Cross Stone, Westmorland
Cross Stone is a sculptued cross in Westmorland. It dates from the 14th/15th centuries and was found in a field and re-erected before 1859, at Shamrock Wood near Whelprigg village. It is nearly 4 feet tall, well preserved, and may have originally been a grave marker. It is within the council area of Westmorland and Furness.
