Cross Low, Derbyshire
Cross Low is a Bronze Age burial located on Cross Low Bank near Alsop en le Dale, Derbyshire. The monument includes a mound measuring about 65ft by 60ft and standing about 3ft high. It was partially excavated by Thomas Bateman in 1843 and found to contain a crouched skeleton in a rough cist which also contained a fragment of stone axe and the cremated remains of two infants. It is within the council area of Derbyshire Dales (Derbyshire).
