Cross Dyke, Yorkshire
Cross Dyke is a triple-banked prehistoric cross ridge dyke near Oulston, Yorkshire, in the North Riding. Cross dykes are substantial linear earthworks typically up to ¾ mile long and comprising one or more ditches arranged beside and parallel to one or more banks. Their construction spans the millennium from the Middle Bronze Age. It is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
