Creslow Manor House, Buckinghamshire
Creslow Manor House is a mediæval house at Creslow, Buckinghamshire. Dating back to at least the 13th century, Creslow Manor is believed to be the oldest continuously inhabited house in Buckinghamshire. For centuries, the estate was crown property and used as grazing land for cattle destined for the Royal Table. This practice continued from the Dissolution of the Monasteries until the reign of Charles II. From World War II until 1998, the manor housed a signals intelligence station for MI6. Today, Creslow Manor is a family-run business that operates as a secluded marquee venue for weddings and other private events. It is within the council area of Buckinghamshire.
