Creggan, Londonderry
Creggan is a hamlet in Londonderry, County Londonderry. It is within the townland of Creggan, in the civil parish of Templemore. The hamlet lies north of the Creggan Burn at the eastern end of Creggan townland. It now lies at the edge of the urban area around Londonderry. It should not be confused with the much larger Creggan estate, built south of the burn from the 1940s. The area is within the council area of Derry City and Strabane.
