Creake Abbey, Norfolk
Creake Abbey is a ruined Augustinian abbey near North Creake, Norfolk. It was founded by the Augustinians in the 12th century. A few sections of the church walls remain standing, and demonstrate their traditional Norfolk flintwork. There are some remaining carved details in the window arches and doorways. The remains of the conventual buildings ranged around a cloister survive in the gardens of the 19th-century Abbey Farm, which occupy the southern half of the monastic precinct. The monument is within the council area of King's Lynn and West Norfolk (Norfolk).
