Crane Castle, Cornwall

Crane Castle is an Iron Age cliff castle, situated on a prominent coastal cliff known as Carvannel Downs, overlooking Basset's Cove near Coombe, Cornwall. The cliff castle survives as part of a double rampart with ditches measuring up to 270ft and 220ft long and averaging 7ft in height. It is within the council area of Cornwall.
