Craigentinny is a suburb in the north-east of Edinburgh, Midlothian, close to Portobello. Craigentinny House, built in 1604 by James Nisbet, gives its name to the wider area. The main housing development period was the 1930s. The Craigentinny Marbles is the mausoleum of William Henry Miller (1789-1848), a wealthy landowner and Member of Parliament. Craigentinny is within the council area of City of Edinburgh.
