Corcrain, Armagh
Corcrain is an urban area in Portadown, County Armagh. It is within the townland of Corcrain, in the civil parish of Drumcree. Portadown grew up around the border between Corcain and Tavanagh townlands, the eastern part of Corcrain townland being part of the town from its earliest days. Most of the rest of the townland was developed during the 20th century, especially since the 1950s. The use of the name Corcrain as an urban area tends to refer to the western side of the townland. The area is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
