Corby Bridge, Cumberland
Corby Bridge (aka Wetheral Viaduct) is a 19th-century railway viaduct across the River Eden at Wetheral, Cumberland. It was completed in 1834, designed by Francis Giles and built by William S. Denton for the Newcastle & Carlisle Railway Company. The bridge consists of five semi-circular arches, supported by six piers—two in the river bed and two on each bank. It is within the council area of Cumberland.
