MenuCop Stone, Westmorland
Cop Stone is a glacial erratic in Westmorland. It stands around 4 feet tall, is about 3 feet wide and about 3 feet thick. It forms part of a man-made bank of around 65 feet in diameter. This bank is believed to be a Bronze Age ring cairn that was recorded in the late 19th century as having more than ten stones around its perimeter - there are still a few small boulders set into this bank. It is within the council area of Westmorland and Furness.
