MenuCoombe Abbey, Warwickshire
Coombe Abbey is a large country house and estate lying to the east of Coventry, Warwickshire. Coombe Abbey, previously a monastery, was developed by Sir John Harington of Exton from 1581 into one of the most substantial houses in the county. The grounds were substantially re-modelled by Capability Brown from 1771. The house is currently a hotel and the grounds a country park. The house is within the council area of Rugby (Warwickshire).
