Conwy Suspension Bridge, Caernarfonshire
Conwy Suspension Bridge is an early 19th-century suspension bridge spanning the River Conwy next to Conwy Castle, Caernarfonshire. The bridge was built by Thomas Telford in 1822–1826 and replaced the ferry at the same point. The bridge was superseded by a new road bridge built alongside in 1958. The suspension bridge is now only used as a footbridge and has been owned by the National Trust since 1965. It is within the council area of Conwy.
