Condover Hall, Shropshire
Condover Hall is an Elizabethan mansion standing on the outskirts of Condover, Shropshire. It has been described as the grandest manor house in Shropshire. Built out of pink sandstone, Condover Hall has typical Elizabethan two-storey ground-floor rooms lit by tall windows with regular mullions and double transoms. There are fine chimneys, gables and a notable strapwork frieze. The grounds are laid out in formal 17th-century style. It is within the council area of Shropshire.
