Coleshill Park, Berkshire

Coleshill Park is an ancient estate at Coleshill, Berkshire. Coleshill House was a 17th-century mansion which was demolished in 1958 following a fire. During the Second World War, the house was requisitioned as the training headquarters for the Auxiliary Units, the secret British Resistance in the event of a German invasion. Still standing are the 18th-century stable block, and the late 17th-century former service block with brewery and laundry, known as Clock House. The estate is in the care of the National Trust. It is within the council area of Vale of White Horse (Oxfordshire).
