Cogry, Antrim

Cogry is a small village in County Antrim. It is within the townland of Coggrey, in the civil parish of Grange of Doagh. Cogry townland remains predominantly rural in nature. Cogry Mill was built by the McMeekin family during the mid 19th century and a small mill village built close to it. The mill closed in the 1950s, though the site of the mill village has since seen substantial housing development. The village is within the council area of Antrim and Newtownabbey.
