Cockington, Devon

Cockington is a village in Devon. The village has Saxon origins. The Drum Inn (1936) was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. The Almshouses are seven terraced cottages built during the reign of James I. Cockington Court dates from the 16th century with many subsequent alterations. It is within the council area of Torbay.
