Clytha Park, Monmouthshire

Clytha Park is a 19th-century Neoclassical country house and surrounding estate, located near Llanarth, Monmouthshire. The house dates from 1862, when William Jones the Younger had the previous Georgian mansion razed and replaced it with the Neoclassical Clytha Park. The house is surrounded by an 18th-century landscaped park. Overlooking the house, on a prominent hill, stands the late 18th-century folly of Clytha Castle, constructed by William Jones the Elder in memory of his wife. The house and estate is within the council area of Monmouthshire.
