Clifton Wood, Gloucestershire

Clifton Wood (or Cliftonwood) is an urban area to the west of Bristol city centre, lying on the north bank of the old course of the River Avon (the Floating Harbour) in Gloucestershire. The area's Victorian terraced houses, painted in bright colours, form a famous part of the Bristol skyline. It is within the council area of Bristol.
