Clifford Castle is a ruined castle in the village of Clifford in the Wye Valley in Herefordshire. The early motte-and-bailey castle was built on a cliff overlooking the River Wye in 1070 by William FitzOsbern, 1st Earl of Hereford. The castle was later rebuilt in stone by Ralph Tosny. It is within the council area of County of Herefordshire.
