Claughton Hall, Lancashire

Claughton Hall is a large country house in the village of Claughton, Lancashire. It dates to around 1600, but it contains material believed to be from the 15th century. The building was moved to its present site, from the bottom of the hill on which it sits, in 1932–35. It is built in sandstone with stone-slate roofs. It is within the council area of Lancaster (Lancashire).
