Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire
Chipping Campden is a market town, lying at the northern end of the Cotswolds, in the north of Gloucestershire. The town's terraced High Street dates from the 14th century. The Market Hall was was built in 1627 by the town's wealthy benefactor, Sir Baptist Hicks. Chipping Campden Town Hall dates from 1520, though substantially remodelled in 1897. Woolstaplers' Hall is a 15th-century former Wool Exchange Room and Merchants' Hall. St James' Church is an early perpendicular Cotswold wool church, built in the 15th century but including elements of an earlier Norman church. The town is within the council area of Cotswold (Gloucestershire).
