Chesterton, Staffordshire
Chesterton is a former mining village in Staffordshire. Chesterton was the site of a Roman fort. The village was the site of Holditch Colliery disaster in 1937. It now lies on the outskirts of Newcastle-under-Lyme. It is within the council area of Newcastle-under-Lyme (Staffordshire).
