Charnock Hall, Derbyshire

Charnock Hall (sometimes just Charnock) is a suburban village in Derbyshire. It was developed as a housing estate from the 1950s on the former land of Charnock Hall Farm. It was brought into the Sheffield municipal area in 1967 and is contiguous with the Gleadless Townend area of Sheffield. It is often now considered an outer suburb of Sheffield. It is within the council area of Sheffield.
