Chantmarle Manor, Dorset

Chantmarle Manor is a 17th-century manor house near Cattistock, Dorset. The first Manor house was built in 1212 and owned by monks from Milton Abbey. The manor was rebuilt in about 1612 by John Strode. The manor was the basis of a police training college from 1951-1995. It is within the council area of Dorset.
