Caw, Londonderry
Caw is an suburban area in the north-east of the Waterside area of Londonderry, County Londonderry. It is within the townland of Caw, in the civil parish of Clondermot. The townland of Caw remained almost entirely rural until the mid 19th century, from when it became the site of several villas and country houses. Since the 1960s, it has seen large-scale suburban development. Some of the Victorian houses survive, including Broomhill (later a hotel) and Greenleas. The area is within the council area of Derry City and Strabane.
