Caversham, Oxfordshire

Caversham is a town in Oxfordshire. It stands on the north bank of the River Thames, clustered around the bridge to Reading. Formerly a village, the town grew during the 20th century to become a suburb of Reading. The town now spreads across from the Thames floodplain and up the foothills of the Chiltern Hills. The town is within the council area of Reading.
