Cathedral of St Michael and St George, Hampshire
The Cathedral of St Michael and St George is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Aldershot, Hampshire. It serves as a cathedral for the Bisphoric of the Forces. The church was designed in Early English Gothic Revival style by Ingers Bell and Aston Webb and completed in 1892. It was built as the principal church for the Anglican chaplaincies of the British Army. In 1973 it became the seat of the Roman Catholic Bishop of the Forces and was dedicated to St Michael and St George. The cathedral is within the council area of Rushmoor (Hampshire).
