Castlederg is a town, lying on the River Derg in County Tyrone. It is within the townland of Churchtown and Castlesessagh, in the civil parish of Urney. The ruins of the post-mediæval Derg castle (aka Castlederg Castle) lie on the north bank of the River Derg. The town is within the council area of Derry City and Strabane.
